Scarf

Life has been seriously busy. We have missed so many school days due to weather that it's been hard to keep up at school when I'm home and then hard to keep up at home when I'm catching up at school. We also threw a surprise anniversary party for Matt's parents which was a lot of work but SO worth it! I can't think of a more deserving couple either. I thought I better catch up with some of my projects before spring comes and life continues with its busy-ness.

This is a super cute scarf I made for my sister-in-law for Christmas. It was easier than I thought it would be but I did have to tear out some rows a few times. Here is the website if you'd like to try it yourself!

Another Shower

It's Baby Lincoln's 2nd shower today. I broke out the crochet needle this time. I just love Newsboy Hats!
I found this pattern on pinterest: http://smiley-netta.livejournal.com/30951.html I made hats like this before (pre-pinterest) and couldn't find it on my favorites. This one turned out fine too. I'm not super good at following patterns. I stopped at the brim directions and missed that there was supposed to be one final row.
I used a size I/5.50mm hook.

The buttons are from JoAnn. Green Earth Brand in Brown Bruse
