Here's another post from this past summer. Maybe I'll finally be caught up with 2013 by summer 2014! With no exciting trip planned for the summer Matt and I spent a night in Stillwater, MN at a Bed and Breakfast. We went frisbee golfing, enjoyed a dinner cruise, did a tiny bit of shopping and devoured a wonderful old-fashioned malt.
The water was extremely high, pouring past the bike path and into the park. |
The sky was very dynamic the day we went on the river cruise. |
More evidence of the flood |
Our breakfast |
The tower above our room where we enjoyed our breakfast. |
View #1 from the tower |
View #2 from the tower. There were windows on all 4 sides of the very small room. |
These stairs were incredibly tight to walk up. The breakfast tray barely fit up it. The trap door on the right could be released so you could walk on top of it without falling. |
The stairs to the tower |
There was a bathroom with a large walk in shower but another room also had a whirlpool bath. |
Our room |
This was the flooring by the bath tub. I thought it was a fun texture. |
Crazy story. These people were in the room the night before us. |
